How our solar guides are made

SunFit Solar publishes free guides on rooftop solar in Gujarat, in English and Gujarati. This page explains how they are researched, checked and kept up to date, so you can judge how much to rely on them.
Who is responsible
The guides are published by SunFit Solar, a referral service run by its owner, Uday Patel. He is responsible for what the site says.
How a guide is written
Topics come from the questions people in Gujarat actually search for and ask us. Each guide is researched and drafted with the help of AI writing tools, following a written brief with strict rules.
- Every fact must come from an official or primary source: pmsuryaghar.gov.in, MNRE, PIB, GEDA, GERC, the DISCOMs (UGVCL, MGVCL, DGVCL, PGVCL, Torrent Power) and other government or standards bodies.
- If a fact can't be checked against such a source, it is left out.
- Key sources are linked inside the guide, and each guide shows the date its sources were last checked.
What we don't publish
- No system prices or quotes. Only the installer who visits your roof can price your system. Government subsidy amounts are official figures, so we do show them.
- No claims that we install, have projects, or have reviews we can't show. We are a referral service.
- No financial, legal, tax or insurance advice. Where that matters, we tell you to ask your CA, lawyer or insurer.
Keeping guides up to date
Scheme rules, DISCOM procedures and regulations change. We re-check older guides regularly, update the facts and the 'Sources last checked' date, and note the update date on the guide.
