Questions people ask us
How much roof space do I need for a 3 kW system?
About 250 to 300 sq ft of roof that doesn't get shade during the day. Newer TOPCon panels need a bit less space for the same output.
How much subsidy will I get for a 3 kW home system?
₹78,000. The PM Surya Ghar scheme pays ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the third kW. Bigger systems still get ₹78,000, which is the maximum.
Will solar work during a power cut?
A normal on-grid system switches off during a power cut. That's a safety rule, so linemen working on the wires don't get a shock. If you want backup, ask us about a hybrid system with batteries.
What size system does my house need?
Look at your last few bills. In Gujarat, 1 kW makes about 120 to 135 units a month. So if you use 300 units a month, a 2.5 to 3 kW system is about right.
Do you do residential rooftop solar outside Ahmedabad?
Yes, in every district of Gujarat. We regularly work in Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Gandhinagar, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar and Kutch, and in smaller towns and villages too.
