Questions people ask us
Is there a subsidy for solar water pumps in Gujarat?
Yes. Solar pumps are covered by the PM-KUSUM scheme through state agencies. Who qualifies and how much the farmer pays changes from time to time, so we check the current rules for you.
What size pump do I need?
It depends on how deep your water is, how much you need and how you irrigate. Tell us your borewell depth and land size and we'll suggest the right HP.
Does a solar pump work on cloudy days?
It runs slower when it's cloudy and stops at night. Most farmers plan irrigation for late morning and afternoon, when the pump gives full flow.
Do you do agricultural solar & pumps outside Ahmedabad?
Yes, in every district of Gujarat. We regularly work in Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Gandhinagar, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar and Kutch, and in smaller towns and villages too.
